Stumbles #3 (forward, prologue and epilogue)

I've been doing a lot of walking lately, in fact I'm wearing out my shoes. The best art-finds are the ones you stumble upon. Pictured above are Jane South's beautiful installation at Kate's Paper on Spring Street. Also pictured are Mike Estabrook and Ernest Concepcion at Cuchifritos in the Essex Street Market and Daniel Davidson's Double Stuff at Sloan Fine Art.

More pictures from the stumble below, of walking in the rain and of Nancy Friedemann's billowy flowers.

The next "Excuse me, you have art in your teeth," salon will be held at Lady M cake boutique and we will discuss Robert Lazzarini's new work and the Jeff Wall show and then we'll go to Gagosian's new retail outlet where we will shop for books and Ed Ruscha multiples. Date to be announced.
