Recent Drawings - off to Ohio for a show at William Busta Gallery

I always wanted to show in Ohio. I still have some in-laws that live in the state. And I have not yet been to the Akron Art Museum. So here's my chance. Opening this Friday, I have a show of "recent drawings" at the William Busta Gallery in Cleveland.

The show was organized by my favorite Ohio artist, Hildur Asgeirsdóttir Jónsson. I'll be showing with Brinsley Tyrrell, a soon to be another favorite Ohio artist of mine!!

If you can give $10 the free arts program for the kids will become a reality! Norte Maar is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

The Judd Foundation

Yesterday I attended an event that the Judd Foundation sponsored. It's a secret event held at 5:00 pm on Mondays. To gain access you must bring a sweet.

The sweets were eaten at his house in Soho, which is amazing. It's the type of space that makes you want to change yours (house, life, head, etc.) Judd had strong opinions and sometimes made idiosyncratic decisions. His book, the "Complete Writings" is rare, but his library in online!

I did find this short Judd piece on Youtube. And from the Judd Foundation website, "It's Hard to Find a Good Lamp."
