While here in Akron, Ohio, I stopped in at the ever-interesting Akron Art Museum, where I came across a painting by Bill Radawec, linked here via the museum's extensive online collection.
Bill, who recently passed away from a long and brave battle with cancer, was also a forward-thinking artist who started a gallery in his house in Los Angeles long before anyone else had the idea. His space called Domestic Setting, gave many artists, me included, their first opportunity to showcase work amongst other international artists and cutting edge ideas. It was a great pleasure to see this painting, Bill was a native Ohioan, in one of my favorite art museums.
