My beautiful day in Wassaic with Audra Wolowiec

Between rain storms last week, I had the great pleasure of traveling up to Wassaic to pay a visit to Audra Wolowiec a fall artist-in-residence at the Wassaic Project. The Wassaic Project is an artist-run organization focusing on community engagement and with facilities to exhibit, discuss, make and connect with art, each other, a unique site, and the surrounding country side.

From their website: The Wassaic Project’s activities include an annual summer festival, a year-round artist residency, studio visits/critiques for artists involved with the organization by guest curators and visiting artists, artist workshops with community members, published catalogs, and fundraising exhibitions in Wassaic and New York City. Our programs intend to generate dialogue and collaboration across geographic, ideological and disciplinary boundaries.

Audra will be spending the fall up there and I will be visiting her again.

this way...
