the unsinkable Molly Larkey
Molly Larkey is opening a gallery (salon and exhibition space) in her home in Los Angeles!
But before doing so, Molly is participating in Read-Only-Memory, a group exhibition at Winkleman Gallery's new Curatorial Research Lab. The show brings together works by Anthony Campuzano, Graham Dolphin, and Molly Larkey, all of which incorporate acts of analogue transcription. Characterized by the meticulous, almost devotional labor of recreating found, journalistic, pop, or literary texts, these works stand as extreme acts of obsolete protocol, investigating the lapses of time and information between reading, writing, and reception.
